Quickplay not working and unable to join friends

I haven't been able to join people on public matchmaking or friends through the game or through Steam. I've tried cross-play on and off. I've looked up tutorials on YouTube. I've done the network adapters TCP/IPv6 thing. It has been this way for me ever since February. I've only been able to join people 6 or 7 times in my 78 hours of gameplay at completely random times. I'm tired of soloing. Any help would be incredible.

It seems after the last patch i too have this issue. When trying to quick join it quickly cycles between searching and SOS beacons, before stopping at the 6th attempt and just says looking for SOS beacons.
I can see active dives on planets and selecting one it immediately says failed to join lobby.
attempted to verify game files and still occurring.
Edit: I see they recently patched this to help improve matchmaking, but it seems to have broken the feature entirely for me.

the "failed to join lobby" and quickplay issue have been around for a bit. I have the same issue and still can't play a month later. All I can say is keep trying as it seem's to resolve itself for some people, other have had luck with random fixes ranging from disabling one of the ipv thing sin windows to uninstalling/reinstalling gameguard.

i have the same problem, first i try to reconnect the internet, restart everything and nothing. I try checking the game archives, there is always one small that needed to download over and over again, i only get to play when i reinstall the game. I need to do that each 3 days. maybe from the last two updates.

Because of this reason, and it doesn't seem like it'll get fixed anytime soon, I stopped playing. Playing solo gets boring real quick.

Alright, my situation just fixed it self, i didn't really do anything i just stopped playing and came back 3 hours later and boom fixed

Same issue just started a few days ago, working fine one minute, took a break and close the game and havent been able to join a session since, connection error when joining any session, and same for friends joining me.

im having the exact same issue sine new patch update, might just give the game a break tbh and probably play Ghost OT for a while

This issue started for me yesterday too. When it starts to look for beacons it will attempt to connect to three games showing the status for a split second each time then it will return to searching for beacons forever.

Yesterday I went around looking for fixes and I got to the point where I've messed about so much I've gotta reinstall the game for a hard reset. Doing that right now, doubt it'll fix anything.
