I have the same problem from a long fricking time, nothing fixes it and i cant refund the game, I am stuck with a game that i cant play coop with my friends or with random people, for a coop game that sucks.

Same issue here, two different people in my home can play together, but I am not able to join in with them. VERY upsetting!

i solved my issue.. follow a post i found..
1. Go to your Helldivers local files and find tools folder.
2. Run the 'gguninst' located in that folder.
3. After it's done. Manually delete what's left in the folder.
4. Go back and open a bin folder.
5. In there you'll see a GameGuard folder. Delete it whole.
6. Steam->Helldivers 2-> Verify integrity of game files.
In summary, GameGuard can sometimes disallow you from joining lobbies, because after each and every update you might get a corrupted file that doesn't preven you from launchign the game but still considered 'sus' from an anti-cheat.
As far, as i know, there is also another way, which has to do something with network setting and ticking or unticking something-something ipv6, but i cannot reccomend it personally since i haven't used that method myself.

Hi, Fix that worked for me is verify integrity files, then 2 files will be marked as missing and will be downlodaed afterwards. Re launch the game and you are done. Hope this helps for you.

This issue was the death of the game for me, it was fun when it worked the odd time, but it's been a good month and a bit since I've played. I check the discussion from time to time, and as long as I see people talking about this issue, I don't even bother. Solid game, too bad it has many issues still.

Still having these issues every now and again. Requires me to reboot my machine. Try running these, in order, with command prompt run as admin:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset
