Graphical Artifacting renders game unplayable

I recently updated my GPU to a 4070Ti Super, but this also occurred (even more severely!) on my old GPU which was a 2080 Super. It's not restricted to one map or planet, I've had it happen on every planet at least once, but it doesn't happen all of the time and it doesn't seem to go away unless I reboot my computer, but even then it's not guaranteed to go away.
Any help is appreciated.

Are you using the Feb 2024 drivers? I ask because I have seen graphic artifacts with some bug polygons suddenly extending several miles off the bug since this driver release, and I'm wondering if it's the driver. I have a new rx 7800xt card.

Hi I have experienced same problem but only on Fenrir III map. Did you manage to solve somehow this problem. Mine on video below

Yes, maybe? I disabled The Windows "Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling" and it hasn't returned as of yet.

Nevertheless with graphical artifacting one should not joke around and
A) DDU remove current driver
B) Fresh install newest driver (even if you already had that)

Download Furmark 2.0 and do a benchmark on your maximum resolution
( batch file to customize these are in examples.bat in the installation directory, and they are no brain simple no skils needed)

Pay extra attention to temperatures and POWER DRAW !
Make sure theres absolutely no indication of problems here and that the card is running under full load and full power draw according to card spec and Power Supply capabiilites.

Still artifacting in game but NOT in Furmark (if you artifact in Furmark ...ughh you might have a problem with your gpu)

Sound stupid .. but i had absolutely annnoying framerate collapse since update last week and tried everything .. finally i uninstalled everything including nprotect (via a 3rd party removal tool) frustrated and decided to quit playing... but i couldnt resist to download the game AGAIN . And low and behold my game despite using the uninstall of steam and deleting the according %appdata% directory remembered my keyboard settings (cloud saves disabled!! so thats not where they came from) and ran the game like it used to run at 80fps at 5120x1440 buttery smooth.

I couldnt believe it myself after having verified game files like a dozen time not solving tha t problem....

i havent touched the options menu since afraid of breaking something and so far my luck is holding.,

I probably should've mentioned I did most of the above (DDU, Furmark, swapping GPUs, etc.) I'm glad you were able to fix it!
