What antivirus program do you use?
Please check if there are any records of blocking and allow it.
Try specifying the game folder as an exception to scanning.
Turn off your antivirus for a moment and try running the game.
Nope, I already tried turning off antivirus and making exceptions for both folders and it doesn't fix it. So it's just their anticheat problem
What is the path where the game is installed?
Try installing the game to a normal path rather than 'Program files'. Or you can install it on a different drive.
It's not installed in Program files, it's installed on a separate NVMe drive under SteamApps. Tried reinstalling it on 2 drives, nothing. I think it's the AMD cpu error as the symptoms I'm having are the same someone described because of AMD. It opens 2 verions of nGuard x32 and x64 and crashes itself.
Were the error codes 152 and 180 back then?
update.gameguard.co.kr
/download/GameGuard.des
The link kept getting removed, so I wrote it in two lines, so try putting them together in your browser's address bar.
It's a file from another game, but I checked and it's a safe file with a valid digital signature.
Overwrite this file in the folder where helldivers2.exe is located and try again.
No offense but I don't wanna download a random file from internet or another Korean game even if it's Gameguard. Did this actually fix anything for you?
update.gameguard.co.kr is the server of the company that services the GameGuard.
It is version 345 of helldivers2's GameGuard.des, but the file in the link is version 346.
I suggested this because the issue may have been fixed in the latest version.
I don't have the same problem so I can't say for sure.
But I can tell you for sure that that file is safe.
I also uploaded it to virustotal and it was safe.
