Can't Join Friend's Lobby or Start a Mission + Steam Cloud Sync Error

I can't join my friends lobby, and when I try to start a solo mission I get stuck on the drop pod screen. In steam my game is showing it has a cloud sync error but I don't know if that's causing these issues or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, might be communists trying to take us down.

SOLUTION - Spoiler alert!
I had this issue too for few days, to resolve it i needed to uninstall all VPNs i had on my pc.
