This has made it more stable for a lot of AMD users(myself included), and it could work for you as well. It might even increase your framerates enough so that you can increase some of the graphics settings and still get 60 fps.
Oh and if you use the ingame fps limiter, it will increase your CPU temperature. Though using it might be your only way to keep your GPU alive, so it's probably mandatory in a laptop.
Just monitor those CPU temps to see if they remain tolerable. With my desktop PC the in-game fps limiter basically increases the CPU temps from 60 Celsius to 70-72 Celsius, which is tolerable. But in a laptop the temp difference could be much higher due to worse cooling efficiency.
If anyone is looking for the specific AMD driver upgrade that I performed for my hardware, here are the details:
AMD Ryzen™ 7 7840U Drivers & Support | https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-7-processors-radeon-graphics/amd-ryzen-7-7840u
I will test it out further and even alter the graphics to see if I notice any new issues.
I will keep in mind about the fps limiter to see how it performs but overall, haven't noticed anything too crazy. Thanks for the details on the DX11!
