stratagem call down stick to shield pack

%50 of the time it happens every time. It has been my experience that when I have the shield pack equipped that there is a chance that any stratagem I call down - whether that be a 500kg bomb, a sentry turret, or even a resupply has a % chance of sticking to my shield pack's shield turning me into a walking timebomb. it surprises me that nobody is talking about it. not that there's anything anybody can do about it - I just wanted to say that it happens and it can be funny when it does.

I played with the shield pack all day yesterday and didn't encounter this. Rare bug perhaps?

yes i'm gonna record for hours so that i can catch the moment i finally choose to use the shield and then have a 1/4 chance that it happens
issues is described in first post, although now it only happens 1/4 of games with shield

This happens when you look down immediately before throwing a stratagem! It can be used advantageously to stick a sentry stratagem to your shield, and then run under a ledge to get the sentry to land on the ledge above you. You can also drop the shield if you are fast enough and dive away

Since i've returned to this game, i've had that happen only once, and it happened when my stratagem bounced back at me. when that happens, you can hold X (PC default) to open the drop inventory ring, and quick select the shield to drop it. as soon as its dropped, you can pick it back up and keep running. It's not a fix, but it is a work around.
