Dying from Unknown

Hey all, recently came across a bug where I died for no reason, repeatedly.

I was playing solo on challenging and cleared a large bug nest, then as I was grabbing some samples I dropped dead out of nowhere. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and figured I must have been bleeding and not realised it, but when I returned to collect my sample container I dropped dead again.

I actually depleted my reinforcements because I tried to map out a perimeter of insta-death and tried different approaches - even crawling, because I had a tesla tower in the area earlier and figured maybe it was attacking me from beyond the grave, but it was definitely gone. So weird. Anyone else experienced this? Each time I died it said cause was 'unknown', but it was instant and there was no warning. Lost a lot of samples. Thanks!

I usually get 'unknown' as my cause of death after I go diving down a hillside and tumble for a while... Might have been some glitchy terrain gen or something killin ya as ya crossed into it or some such?

Same problem here last night. Trying to get a good posición to shot to the bug holes of a heavy bug nest i got instakilled without any reason... very annoying error.

I've also experience that bug as well and I've accurately determine that when your inside the Huge nest or around it when you destroy a bug hole with a fired explosive or grenade the game will just kill you.
[Temporary fix] If that happens to you. You should use your stratagems because the doesn't cause the insta-kill or you could just avoid huge nest entirely.

I play solo on bug planets Hellmire. I shot by unknown sniper while running to extraction point

Our 3rd faction might be sniping us from unseen angles at times. I've noticed I'm getting shot losing 80% or more hp out of nowhere just walking around.

I had the same issue, but I noticed that I was constantly hit in the head by a fast projectile, a sniper shot possibly? The only weird thing was that we were dying only once we stepped into the middle of a bug nest

Hi, i may have a lead that cause your issue :
You probably triped while leaning over to get your sample,[Insert GTA WASTED music here] that is usualy caused by an unbalanced preparation of your gear.

Again, I was attacked by an unknown sniper on Hellmire while waiting for extraction.
