Friends list totally gone after patch

If I set a game to friends only then no one can join me, because my steam friends no longer show up. Also shows no recent players, can't friend request anyone either.

The steam friends list is broken since the patch before and it is not fixed nor have I seen that they have said anything about it and under the known bugs it is not listed.

As a workaround, Steam profile/friends list might be set to private or friends only in privacy setting. Check if it is, and change it to public. Social tab will work after changing the setting and restarting the game.

This worked for me. My brothers friends list populated no issue, but i had everything set to "friends only". I changed my friends list & social options to "public and it popped up in game.

Oh well thats good to know. Annoying though. I'm not gonna change my settings just so this games friendslist works properly though, its on friends only for a reason lol
