The problem I'm having is after 3 games or so. I've lowered the game as much I could before it went potato for some textures and flipped some settings in my nvidia control panel... this game feels broken at launch but like in all the wrong ways. Can't add friends, can't play a game for more than an hour until computer sets fire even though you have the recommended specs WITH an SSD and your computer has already been cleaned recently.
It's just... silly
Not running into idle or got problems with FPS(60-80)
Other modern games (Forza) didn´t have this problem.
could play the game for several day easy, but even at lowest setup its now sucking like a high class b..h (sorry)
The random crashing is more likely to just be caused by bugs rather than overheating, since it is not limited to people who have rubbish cooling.
If your PC is over heating, it's not the games fault. Get better/proper cooling.
It will happily run at well over a hundred fps if you've got good hardware. Lowering settings will just make it run faster (more fps) not cooler.
If you want your PC to run cooler, assuming you aren't overclocked, you can set an fps limit below what you are currently getting, limit your gpu power to 75-80% (his will only lose you ~5% performance normally), limit your cpu power/boost profiles, undervolt gpu/cpu at current clocks.
