Game has been crashing NON-STOP for 2 days.

Game ran without a hitch, without a problem, and flawlessly, up until 2 days ago. Now it's constant crashes, crashes, and more crashes. Can we please get a fix on whatever was broken 2 days ago. Thanks. ~Stevo

same problem, I ran i9 13900K, RTX 4090, can't even guaranteed one smooth run, the best is playing with friends - so whenever you randomly ctd, you can easily rejoin, unless both of you or the whole group crashed. But that's the best odd for having at least a full-run on a mission, aside from that, it's completely random and RNG.

That has thankfully been the only saving grace, is that I have been playing with friends mostly, but when I'm not, it's a pain in the ol' ass. Such a fun game with a ton of recent frustration lol

It's Sunday and my game has refused to launch. Error 114, same error I've had since release. Some times the game lets me play, some times it doesn't and no fix I do lasts long.

you might want to go to the game file library and change compatibility to windows 8, at least I can play it for like 15 minutes without crashing *fingers crossed*

Same for me it sometimes crashes the whole pc. Very annoying especially after a brutal mission seconds away from extraction.

Already set Lower Graphics hoping itll help, checked game files, redownloaded the whole thing nothing. still crashes

Shocking my 4th crash on extract in the past 6 missions. Thats pretty amazing level of fail you have created since the last patch. If you are using the code from the gattling sentry for the mechs machine gun that would explain why its crashing

Same problem. I bought the game yesterday, but it crashes a couple of minutes after launch. I've already tried everything, but there is no result. I have Rtx 4090 and 13900k. Most likely, the issue is with top-end video cards or processors, since this is not the first post about the fact that the game crashes on top-end PCs. Apparently we'll have to wait for the next patch.

I have done all this, including completely uninstalling all antivirus and letting Gameguard just look at everything unabated on my computer. And I still keep crashing as soon as the guy comes out of the cryopod.

the problem is clearly gameguard and for some people, it just will not work, no matter what you do. I am now over 2 hours sitting here on my day off troubleshooting this game that I honestly and truthfully wanted to play. This is frustrating.

Step 1) Restart Steam, restart PC
Step 2) Run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder, also compatibility mode
Step 3) Run Steam as an administrator, try running game as an administrator
Step 4) Install Visual C++ files

Step 5) Disable Steam Overlay, disable overlay in Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay), Disable Image scaling in GeForce Experience, Close all the overlay app (Discord, GeForce Experience etc)
Step 6) Close all the overclocking app such as MSI Afterburner, riva tuner etc.,close browser Firefox/chrome and third-party app like Zerotier, Unplug hotas, wheel, pedals, mouse, Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect multiple monitors, Turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, end nahimic services & lightingservice.exe in task manager, remove the undervolt, perform clean boot
Step 7) Uninstall and reinstall the nProtect GameGuard
Step 8) Uncheck DLC in Steam
Step 9) Verify the game files (5790 game files verified)
Step 10) Do a clean installation of graphics driver

Step 11) Allow the game to Antivirus program and Windows Security
Step 12) Try these in launch options

Step 13) Rename/Delete the save game files (You will lose all the game progress)
Step 14) Update Windows 10/11 to the latest version
Step 15) If able to launch the game, disable crossplay, switch to windowed mode and lower down graphics settings
Step 16) Uninstall the game, delete the game files, restart your PC and reinstall the game (I have done this at 3 separate times throughout the day)
Step 17) Cap Nvidia control panel frame rate
Step 18) Change to windowed mode, change all settings to low. Set render scale to native.
Step 19) Submit a ticket to Arrowhead through their ticketing service.
Step 20) Disabled Anti- Aliasing, Motion Blur, Screen Space Global Illumination, and Camera Shake. Turned off any applicable settings in Nvida control panel as well.
Step 21) Per Arrowhead, disable Antivirus, Fan Cooling, or video streaming overlay programs.

Why do we the players have to go this indepth to fix something that shouldnt happen. Honestly. I get bugfixes are hard but this shouldve come up in testing. Im waiting for the next patch to continue playing. Im done putting up with the uncertainty of wether or not my game crashes

Can confirm this is accurate for my recent issues (only been playing since Friday Aus time and had basically no issues until today (Monday Aus time).

I was trying a Collect Hard Drive mission and after clearing some side zones I noticed first one then the other of the 2 players with me left the match, I initially thought they'd just quit because I was taking too long or something but then I crashed out to desktop (no error message or anything just a few seconds freeze then spat to desktop).

Restart game and relaunch the same mission (second one in zone so I wanted the bonus) and sure enough after a little side objective action headed towards the Drive location and a perfect repeat.

After seeing this post I went back for a third attempt just to test this theory, I bee-lined straight towards the Drive location and sure enough another perfect repeat once I got within maybe 50-100m of the spot (not too sure on the distance but it wasn't super close to the spot).

So for the moment I guess the Hard Drive missions are off the table for me.
