how do i turn off screen reader?

Why does the game suddenly read like text to speech every menu item i click? i checked the AB settings and turned off text to speech but its still doing it

Yeah, happened to me two time, you have to put of the screen reader, tab to confirm then restart the game, IT WILL NOT STOP untill restart, believe me when i say that it was so tedious that i swear while smash alt+f4 ahahah

Am i lost all i see are the Accessibility > [Text to Speech] and [Speech to Tex] options. both are off. where am i missing?

Try to verify files, then restart the game, if it continue you should try to delete the file of the settings you have already done, this should made the game ask you again the whole setting, like a new hole installation, set the screen reader on off then go next until the initial video and restart the game, it worked for me, hope the same for you
