Can't skip intro cinematic...

How on earth does this bug exist?

This happens when you can't connect to the servers to start the game. It only lets you skip the intro if your loading process has already completed. If you wait until the intro finishes, you'll get an error screen that retries to login. What's worse is that there is no cancel for it so if the connection error continues, the only way to close the game is to alt-tab out and manually close it through task manager. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

Well, looks like "Failed to connect to server" is back.

Every patch, it breaks something.

It happen because of the attempt to connect to the server failed, hope they add option to skip it and wait for server login, the intro is fun, but having the option to skip it to avoid that it becare annoying would be great

If the game is running windowed you can just pull up the Steam window and use that to force close the game, don't have to use the task manager.

however yes it looks like the servers are boondoggled again thanks to Full Metal Democracy being enabled.
