Game Crash / Quit to Desktop without message
Hi,
helldivers is constantly quitting ingame. This means that when a round is running, the game simply quits and returns to the desktop without any error message or similar appearing. Already several times today.
I have closed all background programmes but it still happens often.

Graphic: GF 3090 TI
MeM: 64GB
CPU: Intel i9 13900k

so I am pretty sure that it is not because of my specs that the game crashes so often.

I had this issue before the recent patch and bought the game a 3rd time to see if it works NOPE and no response from anyone about a fix I have i911900 3080ti 32g ram
Adding agreement, twice tonight the game crashed because someone else quit out (somebody got upset because they didn't know how the meteors worked, and when we told him he got hissy and quit, lol)
Same issue here

I have the same issue. I cant get the game to run with a monster rig (4090 etc.). I have tried every single fix, from running in admin mode, turning steam overlay/ input off, lowering frames, lowering video settings, revo uninstalling it, messing with nvidia, undervolting, all of it. At this point I have 3 hours in game of which most of it has been simply loading into a game and frantically adjusting settings prior to crashing, loading hellpod (if i even get there) landing and crashing.... or not even making it beyond the opening loads. It is dumb and should be fixed.
same issue here, I was playing it for around 3 hours a few hours ago but now, just constant crashing once entering mission.

This will sound dumb but it worked for me today and no issues after playing for hours. For people like yourself and me who has intel processors use: Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.

Decrease your performance core and efficiency by 1x until you resolved the crashing. I hope this helps bro!
Hmmm.......I had a lot of crashes in Remnant 2 and this tool fixed the issue totally, I will try now.

Confirmed...not a crash after this.

Thx buddy for remind me about this tool.

Same here... I7 9900K at 5 GHz, 3200mhz ddr4 Corsair ram, 2080Super.

Really can't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to give more details, Devs are just ignoring all posts here, Reddit or discord about it. Probably too busy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about people not liking the rebalancing.

It only crashes in MP, it will sometimes crash on the ship, never in SP.
It's completely broken, now! It crashes when pod drops EVERY SINGLE TIME. I played for 29 hrs of the past week with only a couple game freezes and random C2D when the mission ended (never while in mission).
THEY BROKE IT, WTF!

I haven't crashed in this game until this update. Happened to me once last night. Crashed mid game to desktop. My CPU usage is still a whopping 90-100% in an actual match and this is really stupid tbh and I'm using a 16 core i9 intel CPU. How in the world??? My guess is that invasive anti cheat is using a lot of your CPU resources.

Maybe we should annoy them :D

Silent crashes to desktop happen to me in solo play too, but also in multiplayer. Seems to be completely random.
hello helldivers! It was solved by downloading the visual c++ drivers and the geforce driver for 4060TI WIN11 "GeForce Game Ready Driver - WHQL
Driver Version: 551.76 - Release Date: March 2024 5" and restart

Links:
https://www.nvidia.com/es-es/geforce/drivers/
https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

I hope to help you!

PD: I have removed the steam overlay
Seem to have found a fix:
1/ Make sure graphics are low.
2/ Turn off Anti-ailising.
3/ Set max fps to 60.
4/ Turn off global illumination.
5/ Final and most important - Make sure you host the lobby.

YMMV, however I was also having constant crashes to desktop and ive managed to have 4 consecutive games with no issues. I think higher-end hardware is making the anti-cheat bug out, but I could be wrong.
