Unable to add friends cross platform

My friends on ps5 cant add me and I can add them to my friend's list, what the hell

Same. Sony account is linked (during initial setup), but friends list displays no steam and no sony friends whatsoever. Also, cannot add friends. Interestingly, other friends do show me as online.

Same. Got request and also sent request. Can't accept, just stays in place and never accepts. I think this is an issue between the game and Steam servers and needs to be worked out.
I have a co-worker on PS5 that plays and was gonna send him my friend code, but I still don't know how that works.
Codes are generated, but is that every game? IS this code static or dynamic? Anyone know?

Same thing seems to be happening to me. Sending a friend request to my PS5 friend and visa versa, we can click on the accept button but nothing happens. The window closes and the request remains there. I've heard it can have something to do with the length and contents of your steam name, but mine is within the siggested length and has no funny characters. Hope someone gets this figured out soon

Same here, trying to add a PS5 friend from PC. Requests are sent and received but accepting does nothing.

Same here. Also i can't buy anything. some stuff i get after relog. some wont work at all.

This is happening to a lot of people, if they were already friends you can play together but friend requests for crossplay don't work rn. Bumping because this needs to be hotfixed

Same to me, please fix it... It's very disappointing...
