Does not use my Dedicated GPU

Helldivers 2 Always starts with the Intel 530 in the Options of the game does not let me change the GPU. I tried everything, disable the Intel, force it, everything and nothing. NEVER i had this problem with ANY game. This is absurd, il wait till an update fix this problem but if anyone had fixed this i be really happy if can tell me how. Thanks.

Did you set the nvidia (if that's what your GPU is) control panel?

right click on your desktop, if you don't see it, there should be a "show more option". From there you can add the game's shortcut, set which GPU to use, and while you are at it, limit the max frame rate

I tried that, and from windows. Nothing, the game refuses to use my dedicated. i just did a clean drivers install and nothing.

I'm having the same issue, GPU won't show in the options. Running a 960M. Yeah yeah, I know it's not ideal, but it's almost always good enough to run other games at medium.

dude i have the 950m 4gb, i can run other games just fine. the problem is that is absurd that this game does not want to use the dedicated. i know is not the recommended but i just want to play the game i dont care if the game is running at 720 at low, i just want to play it. but the game refuses to cooperate. im waiting for a fix.

To everyone still having this issue, from my knowledge it's because the 900 series of cards don't support the full set of directx 12 features and the game force checks that which means u can't really run it

I love to help, but I don't got a laptop that older than 10 series sadly, all I can say is make sure you enable high performance mode in nvidia control panel that tell system that want to use gpu for apps that need video rendering.

Game does run on 900 series card for desktops, the issue whatever going on with laptop.

This is the correct method to use; however, it appears your 'on-board' GPU is still active. If you have a graphics card installed the on-board GPU should be disabled. This is done via your BIOS. If you have confirmed that the on-board GPU is disabled then there is no way the game can detect the on-board GPU because it does not exist in your OS hardware profile.
