HUD Bug, Samples not displaying

HUD in game no longer displays Samples during missions whether set to Visible or Dynamic

1. I already tried reinstalling the game
2. Changing settings from Dynamic (default) to Visible to no avail
3. Restarted the game/Restarted PC
4. Changed HUD Visibility and Background Transparency
5. Deleted local cache to try and get more FPS

My friend was initially having this issue where he said he couldn't see it but I changed my settings to display it (visible) now it doesn't show anymore no matter what settings. Is there a temporary fix? It's really difficulty to check how many samples I have on Solo and how much we have as a party

Yeah I have the same problem. No matter what I set it to, I can't see how many samples my team has collected.

Had this same problem. Setting Mission Info to Dynamic fixed it for me.

I can confirm, setting the Mission Info to Dynamic in Options > HUD > Mission Info > Dynamic Fixed it for me!

Hello, same probleme here. It might a glitch on my helmet screen HUD. Too many shots in the head.
Please send help, we need to know how many samples we might extract to spread democracy everywhere.

setting the Mission Info to Dynamic in Options > HUD > Mission Info > Dynamic => No Fixit

Edit the [UserID]user_settings.config with an editor.

File is at:
C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2\saves

Here the parameter value must be changed from "hud_samples" = "0" to "1".

Start the game and you can see the samples again.

The seeting is not in the file. I added it but the HUD still didnt show the values. Was it moved?
