Low fps after updates

Hi, I stopped playing on February 25 and the fps was fine. I resumed today, March 6, and I realized that the game is going terribly for me. (Having a 4080) Has there been any update that has affected performance? Does it happen to anyone else?

i used to get 70-80 fps on the ship and now im permastuck at 50-60 fps since a few days ago

I've also been permastuck at like 45-50 FPS max, with dips below that. I've never had performance issues like this with even Triple-A titles on high settings. It's been a bit aggravating since friends have all had solid performance while only mine is bad (despite having an equal or better PC than them in terms of specs)

I have the same damn problem.
The game drops fps suddenly, for anything, sometimes even if nothing is happening.

I have a PC powerful enough for this game, (RTX3070 + i7 11700kf + 32gb_Ram), I didn't have these problems until they released the penultimate update of the game (as of this comment), no solution seems to work, and I'm starting to get desperate.
Let's hope they fix it soon, those small but annoying fps drops can sometimes decide life and death for democracy.

Having the same problem since a couple of patches ago.
It's tied to the anti-cheat software because I can play solo without a problem, high fps.
As soon as I join someone or someone joins me the performance tanks.

I also am hardstuck at 45-61FPS depending on whats going on. Everything is lowest setting. Dont like.

yeah same, i stopped playing february 24th, was able to run the game at smooth fps (around 80-100) now im stuck at unplayable framerates, from 3-5 fps. what the ♥♥♥♥ happened?

16gb Ram

15-20 fps constantly. I play with my brother who has a weaker CPU and GPU and he is getting nothing of this. It's smooth for him.

First time i played i had 90 fps steady for 10 minutes in my first match then it just plummeted. Now the fps drops are happening during the intro when starting the game.

So, I actually updated my graphics drivers today and so as I was trying to figure out why I was also getting half as many frames this update I decided to roll back to my previous graphics driver (I have not updated in like 2 months mind you). Seems to have fixed it for me for now. I am back at my normal FPS

I'm also having this issue. The game ran flawlessly on ultra settings @ 2k res (vsync off with frames capped to 90 fps) and pc didn't break a sweat. Running a RTX 3080, Ryzen 7 5800x and 32GB Ram, with game installed a 1TB Nvme SSD. Now i'm getting lag and frame stutters in the 40s - 60s.

Same problem with rtx3060Ti Ultra settings or low settings , same fps 50-60 in game , 70 on ship, before update i haved 110fps on high.. :(

Asus rog strix g15 laptop with Ryzen 9 5900hx, 32 gb ram 3200mhz, ssd, RTX 3060 6 gb and I also struggle since 2 patches ago. The game seems that doesn't like Ryzen CPU's or idk, because the cpu usage always go above 95-100 and temperature sky rockets while GPU is almost free... Ultra and low settings doesn't seem to improve anything and no patch has adressed ANY performance issue, which is sad, even more now that we have the meteor shower and all those climatic effects all over the place. With some explotions my fps tank to 20 or less... WE NEED A SOLUTION NOW.

Same here with a RTX 4080 - updated drivers to "newest version" and its worked for me thankfully. (was getting 3-8 fps when first coming onto deck on the ship at the very start of the session).

It's not your hardware, just try to play solo, you'll see ... Smoth like butter ! I guess it's the game netcode or how the datas are synced to players ... It's garbage ... Or maybe the anti cheat too ...
