Game turns off my router

Been having an issue recently where at random times while playing, or launching helldivers 2 I will lose internet connection. Then my whole router will stop working no internet connection on any device, how is this happening and how do I stop it??

does the game also randomly turn on your hot water in the bathroom?

HIGY, as far as troubleshooting goes, it is essentially impossible for the game to turn off the router, as it can only transmit network traffic on a specific port, which would do nothing to interfere with the router itself.

If it's on a wireless network, it's not uncommon that I've seen it that the wireless transceivers built into the routers go bad, which requires the units to be replaced. If you're hardwired, that pretty much narrows it down to it being the router itself failing completely, which also requires it to still be replaced.
