Weird grid lines / meshes on particle effects
Hey guys!

Unfortunately I have some very weird grid lines / meshes on particle effects. It looks like there is a transparent chess board on them. They are on smoke, fire, even on bug blood and robot particles when its splashing out of them (although mostly on stationary things like burning wrecks, they arent really on explosions from stratagems). Since days I'm trying to figure out the problem. I tried everything. Different in game settings (I have everything on ultra usually and play on native render scaling (1080p)), monitor settings, Nvidia settings, drivers etc.

NOTHING fixes it.

My setup: RTX 3060 12GB
Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics
32GB RAM
AOC Gaming Monitor with 165hz (changing hz doesnt fix the problem)

Pls help me. I have to defend Democracy but cant because this gives me eye cancer.....

putting "Particle Quality" on HIGH fixes the issue.

- Anti aliasing OFF,
- Particle quality HIGH (it looks like this setting is bugged right now, because anything other then HIGH doesn’t look to change much),
- Textures HIGH / ULTRA
- Native resolution
Fixed it for me
I’m using reshade SMAA instead of game's
TAA which for some reason introduces mesh like effect on some textures

how do you change the reshade from TAA to SMAA? i tried to look for that setting both in the game's graphics settings and in the Nvidia settings and couldn't find it.

Enabling supersampling fix it for me

Increasing super sampling just shrinks the grid pattern for me. Turning off anti-aliasing seems to be the only way to make it go away for me.

Turning off AA worked for me.
