Dodgy Frame Rate on AMD RX6700XT

GPU – AMD Radeon RX 6700XT with 12GB of VRAM
CPU – Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor
RAM – 16GB DDR4
Installed on an SSD.

Aiming for 1080p, 60fps minimum. I'll usually get about 85-95fps on the ship, but when you add multiple people and lots of bugs on the screen, it drops below 60 to as low as 40fps. This is on mostly medium/low settings aside from texture quality which is at high.

My PC is on par/above the recommended settings so I'm curious as to why I can't get a stable 60fps. I know it's a different type of game, but I maxed out the graphics settings on Tekken 8 recently and that ran at a perfect 60fps all the time, so the dip for helldivers is weird.

Any advice on how to improve performance would be helpful, or if anyone has a similar setup to me and is also having lower than expected frame rates, that'd be useful to know in case it's an optimisation issue. I'm happy to turn down graphics if necessary.

When there's lots of stuff going on in the screen your framerate naturally goes down. Just bring down the graphics and wait until the devs optimize the game.
