SOLVED - Game does not allow use of Sony XM5 headset

I paired my XM5 headset with my computer, but once I start this game it does not allow any sound to pass through my headphones. Once I close the game I can hear audio again which makes me believe the game does not allow permission to bluetooth headphones.

I had a similar issue with the XM3, and although the audio wasn't straight up gone, it was using the poorer quality headset setting.

Thanks, I tried one of the suggestions to turn off the bluetooth services and it allowed the headphone to work with the game active. But I had a feeling this was the case of the game not liking my headphone working with the Smartphone Sony app. For now I will mark it as solved. Hopefully they lower the security requirements to allow Sony Headphone App to work with this game.

I don't know if I would call this solved, per se. Yes the workaround worked for me, but since it kills the mic function of the headphones, well... it's not very handy when playing Helldivers.
