SOLVED - Game not opening / missing file MSVCR110.dll / 0xc00007b error

Hi everyone, for anyone who is getting getting the missing MSVCR110 file error or game is just not launching from steam. this is how i found my fix. Took me around 4 hours of installing the 2022 VC++, reinstalling directX, scrubbing my temp files, doing a sfc /scannow and still no fixes

After watching a million guides on how to solve this and found out the MSVCR110.dll file was a microsoft visual C++ file that was provided in the 2012 pack

I went to the microsoft site and downloaded both x86 and x64 for Visual Studio 2012 (VC++ 11.0) and installed them and it worked for me.

I did also set my game to launch as admin

hmmm odd. what error are you getting?
this youtube video was the best one i came across. if the initial troubleshooting isnt working you will need to try Process Monitor to locate the issue. helped me locate the problem

This did it for me as well. Downloading and hitting repair for the 2012 visual studio pack.
