SOLVED - Keyboard/Mouse - Unable to "let go" of certain interaction objects.

Buttons on the doors the that require two people, valves for objectives, radio towers, and random outpost artillery guns- I cannot disengage from these objects and have to be killed to "let go". I have literally hit every single key on my keyboard and the buttons on my mouse, but nothing lets me disengage from these interaction objects. I've also tried long presses of the interaction key, nothing.

I've only remapped a few keys since training to make things more comfortable, but they were only tied to running, backpack functions, and to access stratas.

Am I missing something? What is usually used to disengage from these interact things? I spent a good few minutes a few times hitting EVERY KEY. Nothing.

I don't get stuck on consoles, buttons to open doors for civvies, grenades, artillery shells.. nothing else.

Solved - Put my interact key to long press instead of just press. Fix it, somehow.

Pressing 'E' lets go or pressing escape to go to the menu and back again lets go for me. I'm assuming you've tried E or whatever you remapped it to so this may not be helpful but it definitely works for me. I have not remapped any of my keys though

Yeah I tried E, long holding E, mashing E, and ESC didn't do anything aside from bringing up the options. Was still stuck to the stuff. It is kind of funny in a way with friends, but I worry if I end up in a rando group where I NEED to touch one of those, they might not find that too terribly funny, hah.

Yikes lol... Yeah randoms may not appreciate that. I can't get into the game rn, but I'm curious if remapping causes this issue or what. Surely it's not just random

I’m glad to see I’m not the only person having this problem. I had to have a teammate kill me yesterday because I couldn’t let go of one of those doors that takes 2 people to open. It happens when I use one of those mounted laser guns in the automaton area. The ones mounted to the top of the walls in the forts. A couple of days ago someone I was playing with got stuck to one of those too. I had to kill him to make him let go and my game crashed. Not sure if those are related.

same. Getting stuck in vehicles, mounted guns, cant get out and die cause of this crap. insta rage quit
