You've already solved the problems for many of us...but there is still a laaarge part of the PC players that still cannot play...which prove that the PC version of the game was not tested enough before release...
I haven't redacted a negative review yet because, for the very little time I was able to play the game, I found it really fun and fitting my expectations...and by respect to the franchise...and the studio (Magicka...you'll always be in our hearts...) I still believe that you're gonna find a solution...
But just don't ignore the kind of messages like mine...I litterally wasted 2 days off trying to find what could be MY problem...and enough time to redact my previous text to be as precise as possible to help you troubleshoot it...
I know we're now on Weekend...but...honestly...you cannot release an awaited game like this one and simply not being there to provide :
1 - The technical support needed (which you seem to be providing, and we honestly all thank you for that)
2 - The (almost) constant communication we need as we simply cannot use a product we pre-purchased (and in Deluxe Edition concerning me...)
I might seem a little bit rude but, as I said, I wasted two days off, expecting to play the game I've been waiting for so long...I want to help you to help us...and together...we can spread Freedom And Liberty Across The Galaxy !
Both AMD and NVIDIA are having issues with 2024 drivers (most of people, some are able to play), especially users with 7000 and 4000 series.
As i wrote on the AMD DRIVER topic in the support section, i have a 9900K and a Sapphire Nitro 6800XT SE and i have no issues at all.. in 2 days i had only 2 crashes at best and i am using drivers from august/september 2023.
Nvidia drivers have never given me problems running new releases. HD2 hasn't ran for me at all since launch and it was doing that before I updated my drivers too.
I HAD TO BORROW A FRIEND'S COMPUTER TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME !
SERVER'S PROBLEMS ARE A HUGE PROBLEM (THAT SHOULD HAVE NOT EXISTED IF YOU'VE HAD REALLY TESTED THE GAME BEFORE RELEASE)...BUT HERE...WE SIMPLY CANNOT PLAY THE F*CKING GAME !!!!
- I9 13900K
- RTX 4090 SUPRIM
The game crashes within the first 10 to 30 seconds after the characters appear on the ship when the tutorial begins.
I have tried everything you say, I just need to try formatting the PC but I doubt it will solve it
If you find a solution please don't forget to share it.
Here is what I see in the Event Observer (in French...Deal with it !) :

My wife have the same problem. What's strange is that we have exactly the same PC (gpu, cpu...) and it work for me but not for her (and i don't want to play without her)
And the devs don't seem to care that people can't even launch the game and do the tutorial)
Is there a difference of Keyboard/mouse between the 2 PCs ? Are they from the same company ? Are they using the same software ?
Everything is the same
