ctrl and shift dont work

Ctrl and Shift do not work in game, and stratagems/run have to be reassigned to less convenient keys

3 days ago I bought a new hard drive, I don’t know if this is related, but the problem disappeared, if anyone has this problem, then updates will not help here

If it happens exit the game and start back up, it should resolve the issue, Thats what I do. I'm not sure Devs are even attempting to resolve issues like these.

Got the same issue i'm glad to see i'm not the only one affected so probably some code getting stuck somewhere

Same here, sometimes those keys works, sometimes they don't.
Restarting the games seems to works 100% of the times for me.

happened to me just now. One way to test prior to a match is to go your your requisitions screen, look at an item and try pressing CTRL to toggle inspection of it. If nothing happens, you know ctrl and or shift are busted and need to reboot game.

Hey all I had the same issue but I just checked the integrity of the game files and the problem was fixed

Still not working. Shift and Ctrl. Had to rebind to caps lock and Q. Also 1-9 doesnt work on my MMO mouse to change weapons.

It’s a windows thing. Left shift + left alt changes the damn input settings and breaks those keys. You have to go into advanced keyboard settings, then input hot keys, then change it

Weird. Those work for me, but Enter is hard bound to chat, R is hard bound to acquisitions, and the numpad keys revert to unlocked version every time the game starts.

I guess i'll add myself to the SUPPORT forum for whatever random reason we're not getting SUPPORT.
I had to 're'-disable the damn windows 11 language switch keys ALT + SHIFT. Mind you it was NOT set. I do live in Belgium, my keyboard is AZERTY but I'm so used to using both Belgian . keyboard as Dutch QWERTY and american QWERTY I have hotkey set to swith on ALT + SHIFT + 2 (or é) depending on what language I'm in.
Either way I'm in the intro and everything is ruined, I can't run from crazy devs and maniacal outsourced SUPPORT forum guru's.

Quit and relaunch the game..the keys work then. THis happens EVERY TIME I first launch the game after booting up the PC. I have to quit and relaunch.

I had the same issue where CTRL stops working. I always restart the game to fix but will try reconnecting keyboard next time. Never had this issue in any game before in my life =]
