Hopefully devs will fix it in due time.
Does your UI also flash white for like half a second?
here are things what have i did try and did not work
Turning on v.sync- did not work
Playing on native resolution with no render scaling - did not work
Playing on warious settings- did not work
downgrading drivers - was to lazy and did not try
what helped is go to Control panel>Video>Adjust video image settings>Edge enhancement and set it to +47%, this so far fixed my issue on 1080Ti
I attempted deleting the player config in helldivers, but that made no difference.
Downgraded to 546.65, now its fine.
GTX 1080 and ryzen 5800x3d.
Changed setting from:
Options -> Display -> Renderscale: NATIVE
make sure to save your settings!
Worked for me!
Alternatively search with advanced driver search (nvidea) to use older drivers for your graphics card. In my case, I did not have to revert back, just change this one setting.
Anyway here is the link to searc for your gpu drivers (older versions)
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us#
if you choose to revert drivers for gtx 10 series look for date: January 17, 2024
This seems to have worked for others.
Setting it to "native" didn't work for me at all, but that might be cause I'm using the new drivers. Can't really go and use the older as I play other games that work better with the new one.
Still. the driver fix is a good temporary fix for people who go HD2 only.
Doesnt work.
Step 1: Delete DirectX 12 shader cache. Remove all files in folder:
%APPDATA%\Arrowhead\Helldivers2\shader_cache
Step 2: Add the DirectX 11 to the game launch options:
Right click on Helldivers 2 in Steam Library, select "Properties" -> "General" -> add to launch options:
--use-d3d11
HUD -> Heads Up Display Scale. Set it to 1.0
Does this actually work :O If so, I gotta try!!!
This worked. Can confirm that this was the solution for me. I tried every other solution listed in this thread but yielded no changes until this one.
Also worked for me, even my CPU is running better for some reason, I had troubles with FPS (which I still do), but at least it's not screaming like a dying giraffe now.
