Microphone is not working.

Anyone else having problems with it?
I've tried setting the audio device, I've fiddled with push to talk and open mic, I've checked my pc settings.
It works with other games except this one.

The fix is that the game is looking for your communication device, not your mic. Hit your winkey, then search for "change system sounds" this opens up the older windows sound window. Select recording tab. Make sure your headset is set as default mic AND default communication device.

Ahhh! The communication device was "Steam Streaming Device" which I'm not even sure what that is. Thanks, let me try this.

This fixed it for me. Note that this is NOT the default audio input device. This is a completely separate setting in Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Recording tab. Look for the green phone icon, which is probably on the wrong device, then right-click the mic you want to use and assign it as the default communication device.

99% of the things I use, that's not a thing that needs to be done. But here? Yeah. Anyway, it worked, and voice chat is working great!
I would like to have some attenuation options for this game.

Same issue here. Works perfectly fine in all other games. But in Hell Divers 2, nothing!

I have it set to open mic, PTT, it doesn't matter which I pick. POS GAME!

Default communications device didn't fix it for me. Disabled all other input devices and no luck. Re-enabled steam streaming mic, made it default and default communication, toggled back to my mic and no luck.

Default communications should resolve it for most, but it doesn't work on all.

This did not help me and many others, there is no fix as of now that iam aware of. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks.
