EDIT: I was having really bad crackling/static audio. I switched the audio from "game" to "chat" and it sounds perfect now :D I'm using Steelseries Arctis 5 I think... had em awhile lol they are wired only, hope this helps!
Try this if you want to ensure that it is HD2... Open Discord, enter a voice channel and listen to the audio coming out.
There is absolutely something wrong with the game. I have played literally hundreds of other games with my current headset (WH-1000XM4) and no other game had issue with changing to Headset settings (microphone of my headset is disabled in Windows)
No other game I've played has this issue, and even my headphones mic is disabled in Device Manager and in other menus.
This wasn't necessary in other games. For other games I just had to set my Windows mic to be realtek and then it worked.
This fixed the issue for me
This IS HD2's issue because I used a few different bluetooth headsets on win10 and 11 and there's no audio in any of them ONLY in helldivers. The devs are so f lazy, i've made like 5 support threads about this and no one cares
It is not a game bug.
