Sounds like an overheat or power draw issue. Are you running uncapped frames? If so, don't do that.

Sounds like a driver problem, this definitely isn't caused by the game itself. Could also be hardware.

I was able to finish a mission. Then when I tried to start another, game took me back to my pc menu. Running a Radeon 580x.

The game encounters minor issues with Radeon graphics cards, specifically with their drivers, yet overall, its performance remains satisfactory.

Update: Problem fixed. i checked the power and driver, everything is fine. Reinstall the game, The setting were resetting as well, so I checked every setting and figure out the problem is the fullscreen, when I turn into borderless, problem solved.

I just had the exact issue. Powered my PC off as if i had done it at the wall. Very strange. Im on an RTX 3080.

I thought my PSU had just suddenly died. Scary. Hopefully they can fix whatever is causing that issue ASAP.

Sounds weird but mine shuts off if i don't use any sort of DLSS upscaling and run it native. I have no idea why.

I put DLSS Quality back on and it's been fine.

Yeah i have similar problems. I wont even get into the main menu. Either the game or the whole computer just shuts down without any error message. Every other game and benchmarks are runnning fine.

Mines only shuts down during cutscenes. Hopefully they can fix that

Twice now I have tried to select a nuclear launch mission and by chance they both immediately shut down my entire computer, no blue screen, nothing. Both happened what seems at random but I dunno, I keep hearing the game is super broken but those are one of two instances I'vee experienced bugs

I think i found a solution for AMD users. Check your AMD adrenalin recording settings, and change your "Video encoding type" from "AVC" to "AV1". Tried this with a freind, both me and him are pc shutdown free.

Anyone have a fix yet? I have tried flipping everything. 4070TI, 32 gigs ram, 1000w PSU. No over clocking. I was finally able to load in and select a mission after the latest patch. Then boom, its black screening and rebooting my PC. Temps are LOW and not the issue.
