AMD 7000 Series Driver Timeouts

Chime in here if you have a 7000 series AMD GPU with driver timeouts (7900 XTX myself).

These usually come from something going wrong in the drivers or hardware of the GPU itself.

I'm an AMD user too, originally with an RX 6800 OC edition which I upgraded to an RX 7900 XTX OC edition, and have seen my share of driver timeouts with various Adrenalin drivers on both cards.

I have a 7900 XTX also , and GPU crashes a couple of minutes into game which is meh

my 7900 xtx is also driver time-outing and i cannot launch the game for a long time after one such crash occurs.

7900 xtx Happens.

A fix that helped me was:

Turning all the settings to low and turning off super sampling

I have recently buyed a 7900 xtx and I can say AMD drivers are hellDrivers

But managed to pass the tutorial by limiting fps to 30 and after lowering graphics settings.

Anyone found any fixes as of yet? Or at least what the cause could be?

nope, amd drivers are fine, run non-broken games perfectly

nope no timeout issues just the esc/pause menu ctd issue.. still not playable as a result,..

Drivers are on a game by game basis. I agree my 7900XTX usually has no issues at all, but there may need to be a gameday driver update to resolve some of the timeouts.

Does anyone have a solid solution? I trying to reduce setting and turn on Vsync. This is the hottest my 7900 xtx has ever gotten. Hottter than star citizen on fuil setting and that game has graphic issues.

I ran for 57 minutes and the normal play time was only 10 minutes
