All PC audio gone on launch?

as soon as i launch this all of my pc audio is gone? cant even hear the game but all my sources are fine and showing that theyre working. just cuts everything as soon as the game launches

there are other threads that are having the same report. its probably their anti cheat system. I have a similar problem, but instead of no audio, it sounds as if the audio is playing though a very old phone. Its sounds so Bad, either that or no audio in general.

same while using my headphones it just sounds like everything is being distorted

I managed to fix it by changing which device was playing audio. My headphones have seperate audio channels for chat and games, and the setup is normally split through Steelseries Sonar. For some reason, launching this game forced all audio into the chat channel so I had to swap to that to get any audio.

Same issue here. Apparently people on their discord are posting that they have the same problem. What a ♥♥♥♥ time we live in where developers abuse the public for free testing instead of actually delivering finished and working games

Go to
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers

Select properties for your headphones and go to services tab.
Uncheck Hands free telephony

I was having really bad crackling/static audio. I switched the audio from "game" to "chat" and it sounds perfect now :D I'm using Steelseries Arctis 5 I think... had em awhile lol they are wired only, hope this helps!

I did find a work around, I ALT-Tab out of the game, disable the speakers via the Sound Settings -> Manage Sound Device, then re-enable the speakers, and sound comes back fully.

As soon as i start the game my audio distorts like hell. Hope they'll fix this, everything's fine after i quit the game.
Using a wiredheadphone to my monitor's sound output works though, weird.

Thats a different issues. For some reason the game switches to paththrough sound on your bluetooth headset.
