Having just now got in, I can confirm that the crash is purely random. There's nothing to fix it. I've got damn near every diagnostic software open and watching. You just need to open it a thousand times and one of them will get through.

I notice through event manager an event for 7030 - Service Control Manager "The nProtect GameGuard Service service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly."

After enabling it is still doesn't properly launch Gameguard during startup, will try crack it for a workaround if people are experiencing the issue still :]

Enabling Administrator Mode on helldivers2.exe seems to have solved it for me.

Ya I was getting that too, fixed it by setting the \steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\bin\helldivers2.exe file to Run as Admin.

It's a common problem with processors. If you have a 12th gen intel or newer. I recommend getting intel extreme tuning utility lower performance core ratio, and then if you're able to load the game and crashes later on. get Lasso and when you open the game, with lasso open look for helldiver's process and right click go to cpu sets and check all p cores other than 0-2 p cores, no e cores. this was a problem with remnant 2 also

I tried this before, a few times actually, but it did not do anything.

For those who get the same issue, try deleting the GameGuard folder and launch helldivers2.exe in admin mode

It's just the buggy nprotect rootkit embedding itself into the windows kernel. This is fine.
