The transition between directions while walking on keyboard is jank as.

You know I was thinking that, and it was sticking out to me cuz I was learning to code a game this week and saw this function to smooth animation turns in the very first tutorial I did lol.

Apparently the issue seems to not be prevalent in the ship, just the tutorial?? lol

If you're talking about the judder as though the controls are fighting against themselves, then the known fix for now is to enable mouse smoothing. I normally have mouse smoothing off turning it on solves this problem
