7900xt using 23.12.1. crashed once after tutorial. done a few missions and seems fine so far. i orignally rolled back from the latest because the stuttering on BF2042 was unplayable.

I had posted earlier what settings I had changed, and I am now using the community based suggestions. I was still having the AMD driver crash before I could finish a mission. I tried the full system restart suggestion, and that is when Afterburner RTSS asked to update. I recalled that some games dislike the in game overlay, so I turned it off for HD2. I have played 5 missions for 90ish minute with no problems. Since some anti-cheat also dislike overlays I am unsure what to blame, but I would guess that something needed for HD2 is not playing nice with most overlays.

Hope this extra info might help a few more people play again.

It's a mystery, I don't use any overlays nor any overclocking software besides AMD Adrenalin and had the driver timeout errors too before disabling AA and SSGI. I've not had any of them since.

You have to set Global Illumination to OFF and resolution to NATIVE, one setting only wont work

Disabled the AMD overlay and the game is now running perfectly at max settings on my 7800XT. nProtect may be crashing the drivers inadvertently by messing with the AMD overlay. Not unheard of!

Моя AMD 7800xt тоже постоянно зависала. Где-то читал новости от разработчиков. Я установил настройки графики на полный минимум при разрешении 1440p, и вылеты прекратились.попробуй-мб поможет

Crashes randomly even if the overlay is of, and im using the 7900xt aswell. Sometimes just CTD without any errors and sometimes saying amd drivers timed out. 2 hours gametime, 11 crashes. GOOD game eh. Shame.

- windowed mode
- 1080 res, or some resolution that smaller than your native resolution
- low graphics, everything turned off
- set to performance or ultra performance mode in the "display" options section
- play only 10 minute eradication missions only
- reboot after every mission

- yeah it sucks but it'll work for now

I'm fairly convinced it's a memory leak issue, if you play less than ~15ish minutes and restart the game, it will not crash.

Crashing within 5 -10 minutes of launching game, pretty consistent. 7900xtx, 5800x CPU, newest drivers. No other issues with any other game, but Helldivers 2 will freeze, then hard crash, taking my AMD drivers with it. Have been submitting crash reports.

Have had crashes every mission since release and the game was unplayable,but after I capped my frame rate to 60 fps in Adrenaline, both my friend and I have had zero crashes.
Running everything on Ultra 1440p,but with AA and global illumination off.
We both have 7900 XTX.
