It's a mystery, I don't use any overlays nor any overclocking software besides AMD Adrenalin and had the driver timeout errors too before disabling AA and SSGI. I've not had any of them since.
- 1080 res, or some resolution that smaller than your native resolution
- low graphics, everything turned off
- set to performance or ultra performance mode in the "display" options section
- play only 10 minute eradication missions only
- reboot after every mission
- yeah it sucks but it'll work for now
I'm fairly convinced it's a memory leak issue, if you play less than ~15ish minutes and restart the game, it will not crash.
