The Illuminate are too easy
I genuinely think they might have to re-tune the 'observers'? somehow when the full Illuminate invasion begins, as right now it's far to easy to shut them down completely given how easy the Observers are to see and gun down before they have a chance to mark you and call for reinforcements, I think they should just increase how many of them there are as well as make it so their marking cone isn't visible through obstacles.

Yeah its very clear the Illuminate forces we face currently are just a poorly equipped skirmishing force intended to little more than whittle us down and collect intel. I don't think there will be many complaints that they're too easy once they come in full force, if they end up anything like the Illuminate of the first game.

Dude we are only facing chaff, troops and 1 heavy. The death rate is massive. We havent seen their other heavy variants, air borne (illusionists and council members oh boy) and Elites.

I don't know if we're getting any of the other HD1 squid units but we're in a lot of trouble if we do.

They're clearly saying that in the context of the current hd2 units and that new units like flyers are obviously going to come. You're pretentiously jumping at the chance to toot your own egos and misreading basic statements to tout hyperbole. Acting like children.

I'm curious to see what Illuminate combat aircraft are going to be like. Thats one thing we never had in the original game. If I were to guess, knowing the Illuminate, they'll either have shields, or turn invisible.

Shame they nerfed the mechs from hd1. They trivialized illuminate missions.

Just waiting for the snipers and the fast cloaked warriors that backstab. Also if they add the tank orbs that throw down energy walls that wall off divers, will be peak cope on reddit.

I don't mind the reversed controls, but what I FEAR is them bringing back the shield barrier enemies that locked you into little death trap cubicles.

Well they only have like 5 unit types with no variations on them.

I'd argue that aside from Voteless, their units are much more dangerous than the most similar tier of unit in other factions, and the Voteless spawn in much larger numbers than the Termanid fodder units to compensate.

The main thing right now that makes them seem like not a huge deal is the lack of variety. There's a high end unit in Harvesters, but you don't have an equivalent to a Tank or Charger. Even with what little variety there is, the Voteless kind of make it a pain to deal with all the tougher units and both Overseers and Harvesters require a coordinated effort to take down due to the former having armor that completely blocks at least one attack and the latter having a shield that even blocks most strategems.
