Getting kicked often

Is it me? Or does people have a habit of kicking people? Every game I've joined they kicked me out. And when I actually did get in the field they kick me as usual. And this happens every single match since the new update came out.
Maybe I'm just unlucky... or I'm actually bad at the game. [Which I am]
It's a great thing you don't get booted back to the ship and continue fighting but playing by yourself is quite boring at times.

Never encounter any childish people throughout helldiving. One example is teamkillers. XD

I got kicked for accidentally teamkilling host yesterday, which, like, buddy, it's helldivers lol.

But no other than that it's rare for me. Are you sure you're being kicked? The game disconnects a lot. You only have been kicked when you receive the "You have been kicked" banner message.

I've been kicked twice, but I assume it was because the host was making room for friends (pre-dive). I have not been kicked during a match, and I have well over 100 hours. So you need to look at what might be different between our gameplay tendencies.

Are you teamkilling often? Using explosive strategems that hit wide areas tends to annoy people, and spamming cluster bombs or 380mms could annoy a host into kicking you. If you end up with an accidental teamkill, are you apologizing?

Using weapons, such as the Air-Burst Rocket Launcher, can also net you teamkills far too often. Grenades, grenade launchers, flamethrowers, etc, as well.

Are you communicating with your team? Some people want players with microphones, and others are happy just to text in chat. If you do none of these, and end up getting killed a lot, or killing teammates a lot, they might think you are just a young, naive child or a troll.

Also, the banner on your screen will specifically say, "You were kicked by the host" or something along those lines. Anything else is a connection issue (which are common in some areas of the world, during storms, or just after major patches: the current one as an example).

I don't think you are being kicked unless it says you are specifically there is a lot of game disconnects right now.

If you're playing against the Illuminates right now, it's highly possible that you're just getting disconnected instead of being kicked.

I was hoping that they would have fixed that issue before putting a new mission against this new (& old) enemy but...

me and my friends can't play illuminates in a full lobby right now without being kicked. it's a problem with the game

don't sweat the kicks, just block em and never see em again you'll have better experience all around. Last time I got kicked(1st or 2nd calypso night) purple threw strat killed me and the host I said "ooops lol", and got kicked. I blocked host. Now I never have to see the genius again win/win View kicks as a filter. Did hook up with purple(but he turned blue) again nd we 2 maned some SHd's till disconnects started hitting. Then I started drinking(since I couldn't play), calling forum people names ,and made mods mad...so sad...not really

Lot of disconnects. Probably 1 in 4-5 games seems like I get kicked by just lose connection.

Can play for like 2-3 minutes after the D/C, everything isn't moving and stuck in spot.

Can also notice other people being d/c'd when they leave randomly or soon after they join the dive.

I find turning off crossplay helps with lessening toxicity across all games, up to you.

Are you positive these are intentional kicks? The game has been absolutely abominable about disconnects from server.

what bothers me with being kicked and disconnects is the assinine decision that forces you tto watch the exact same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cutscene where you come out of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ freezing pod. you have to stare at it for 30 seconds to find out what happened. then they put giant big ass yellow letters for 30 seconds in the middle of the screen to say wtf just happened to you. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ release a UX designer on that please, because it's an abysmal experience that just inflates the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of being thrown out of a game.

to be fair big text is probably requirement to be a hell diver, anyone literate would have read the fine print and said to hell with this job.....Do you have something in human experimentation perhaps? sounds safer

people are not kicking you, the servers are unstable so a lot of people are getting dropped during games

It's gotten pretty rare that I have to kick, anymore. I might have to repeat myself a couple times because someone panics and forgets the plan for what we're doing, gets lost, or generally need some tips; other than that it's like 1 out of every 50-100 helldivers that I actually have to kick for insubordination, griefing, or general stupidity. I actually have been doing well, on the illuminate front. Squid fighters know what they're doing (who would have guessed lol). That's far fewer than I have ever had before, where it was more like 1 in 20 during escalation of freedom.
