Best armor passive against illuminates?
i currently use extra padding but i think its obvious to use Electrical conduit when playing against them, since arc damage is really good at killing them (while using Arc thrower, tesla tower). Is there any other fun loadout/armor recommendations against illuminates?

You see, all the armors have different niches and they're all gre- Just kidding, it's the medic armor as always. Though I use peak physique for personal preference.
Arc is decent with the illuminate, but it's situational to being near harvesters, which is usually a fairly rare occurrence, unless you want to kill them with a flamethrower for some reason. The teslas will still kill you, just one or two seconds later, so that's out. What the medic armor offers is useful in any situation and a huge core upgrade, so it's a pretty clear cut comparison.

White and green just aren't my colors, though

Just the extra ammo+reload speed is very good on the urban legends warbond.

It prevents a lot of situations where voteless in between reloads force you into ugly situations.

I still think medic armor is the best passive for like every faction but I've grown to like the default helldiver armor as 150 armor with medium speed is p good imo

it's honestly easier to say what to avoid but even then you can make just about anything work

anyways I'd avoid heavy armor just because needing to constantly run to avoid zombies is gonna be harder when you're slow but even then if you have the right weapons this won't be that big of a deal, like I said you can make most stuff work

Me neither, and I also refuse to use it, but it is the most effective armor passive by miles, on illuminates or any other faction, and that's what OP was asking about.

Lucky for you they gave the alpha commander armor.

Yeah it's a combo that's really hard to beat. Always good.

Everyone is saying shock resistance but if you're playing the game properly you'll never be in range for this perk to apply lol.

Explosion resistant armor is king as ever, because the biggest source of helldiver death - other helldivers, is as present as always lol.
"lOL if you were as good as Me, you wouldn't need any kind of passive" that's how you and people like you sound like, "LoL"

to the OP, yeah shock armor passive from the Cutting Edge warbond is a good choice, can't always pick where you'll engage anything in this game, especially in the city so having that extra OHK resist protection is a great idea. Also as some have pointed out, tanking a tesla shot can be advantageous if you've got other enemies massed around you, it will fork off and possibly kill some of them after striking you.

Best armour passives against the squids. Depends on your loadout more than anything else.

However, the best loadout for squids right now is below.

I specialise in solo, no stim, no death, kill all, full map clear runs.

Stratagems:

A/G-16 Gatling Sentry - Voteless, overseers, watchers and enemy shields.

A/MG-43 Machine Gun Sentry - Voteless, overseers, watchers and enemy shields.

Eagle Strafing Run - Anti-everything

Autocannon - Anti-everything

Loadout:
Armour: CE-74 Breaker - Minus 30% recoil when crouching and +2 grenades.

Booster: Armed Supply Pods - Voteless, overseers, watchers and enemy shields.

Primary: Las-16 Sickle - Voteless, overseers, watchers and enemy shields.

Secondary: GP-31 Grenade Pistol - Ground ships.

Grenades: G-10 Incendiary - Helps to slow down any voteless trying to reach me, so I can type into a terminal or focus on other targets.

Footage: (With explanations of how things work in video description)

Solo stimless, deathless, full map clear super helldive runs.

Run 1: 938 kills - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nIVsrt1eI4

Run 2: 1,027 kills - https://youtu.be/bORYIF6LplI

I'd say Fortified (recoil reduction and 50% explosive resistance). Due to how Overseer ablative armor works, you need to be able to put rounds accurately into one spot to kill em fast so recoil reduction helps. Same for Harvester leg joints.

And those jetpacked overseers drop a ton of grenades on you and lots of explosive barrels and cars around so explosive resistance also helps.

I like the shock resist simply because it freaks people out when I just face tank tesla towers and harvester shocks.
