The proper Illuminate Front is likely open up fully this week

Sounds like they are purposely playing with their player count like a yo-yo then, doesn't make sense to announce a new faction at the game awards just to have it be a nothingburger right after. Doesn't matter if they come back later this week, MANY people were holding off coming back or buying the game entirely for this and it feels like a bait and switch to them, and will almost certainly sour their opinion of the game.

Yeah but no need another Fomo game, too many toxic fomo games out there, and many disgusting devs are taking advantage out of it. Sad I missed it, but patience is a virtue and only very few have it these days!

We beat them. Don't worry it's certainly the vanguard force. Give it a week at max and they'll be back and if we're lucky with more enemy types.

I had a few runs on Calypso with some friends and it was fun. Plenty of other stuff to keep me busy till the Squids come back. And I have a hunch it'll be even faster than with the Bots

people have been begging for this all year and when we finally get it even "just the tip" is too much and it got yoinked away, of course people's spheres will take on a blue hue

I had my last dives around three hours before the MO ended and the situation was on the edge, but more towards losing it. Today I log in and no squids in sight - great job Helldivers! Unless Joel tweaked some numbers due to our valiant effort...

If not for the huge activity of people - Illuminates would (likely) still be here.
