Updates on Illuminate?

I'm sort of frustrated that i didn't get to experience the illuminate before they were removed. I understand that they'll most likely come back, but i didn't have time to participate at all before they were gone. Sure I can go fight bots or bugs, but i'm still frustrated i didnt even get to do ONE illuminate mission. Like at least leave them in the game while you balance them so everyone has a chance to experience them and give input? If you're going to give me a big ass update AT LEAST let me experience the content?

Anyway, this isn't any real shade to the developers. mostly just ranting because I was really looking forward to playing against some zombs and pretty upset that I'll have to wait a while, especially given my work schedule.

They will be back. Just wait a few days, if that. When we destroyed the Automatons a while back, they came back the very next day. So don't get all excited. There is no way - NONE - that AH will remove a brand new faction that is insanely popular from the game after they went to all the trouble to create them.

So relax. Fight the bots and bugs for a little bit and soon enough, you'll be able to fight the squids again.

Not all Illuminate enemies have been implemented, leaks have shown FAR MORE.
This was without a doubt just a testing phase, many more will come to the game!

They are gone atm but ingame it states that multiple units have reported facing human like enemies aka the zombies so they are probably going to come back soon. I dont think the devs expected us to win tbh.

I'm in the same boat. Waited all weekend for the squad to play against the illuminate and 30 minutes before everyone was able to hop on, they removed them. Such a bummer man, we were hyped to come back to the game and now we didn't even get the chance to play against them.

Literallyyyy. Like I 100% understand they'll be back but it's disappointing to see they aren't there when you looked forward to trying it and just couldn't before now.

It's easy to say relax, but the reality for alot of us is we've been at work, waiting for a chance to play together, and now we can't play against the illuminate. Even if they come back tomorrow, that's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monday, so I have to wait until at least next saturday to play with my friends. The devs should have thought this through a little better, instead of letting all the sweatlords that don't work all day ruin it for us.

opportunities dont usually wait for everyone, at least give it a try before waiting for your friends. friendly reminder of not blaming others, when u can always let randoms join your squad.

I've no doubt the Illuminate will return, whether its a week or 2 later, they will return. Chances are, they'll bring in new unit types with them.
