Suggestion: Pride-Flag-Themed Capes

It'd be cool and inclusive if there were some capes that featured the designs of different Pride flags.

(If you are against this idea, then please move on without commenting anything. Whether or not it gets implemented will not affect how you want your character to look.)

There's nothing in this game that suggests Helldivers are persecuted because of their identity, only their "non-Democratic" beliefs. With that in mind, simply wanting flags like the ones in question is far from a big deal.

Also, no one was told to do anything, they were asked to (specifically, in case they decided to be antagonistic or hateful at the notion of anything inclusive getting added, as is sadly to be expected from some people.)

If it was rage bait, then I wouldn't have kindly asked people who may dislike the idea in question -- specifically, those who may be antagonistic and/or hateful (not saying you have been) due to such a topic being brought up -- to not engage with it.

Well, nothing say in the game helldivers are being persecuted for being racist (quite the contrary instead, more xenophobic than super earth, and you're the imperium of humanity in warhammer 40k), should we add some racist group cape too ? Or they're not prelivigied enough ?

IMO, if the dev would decide to grant this wish, they'll open door for any other shenanigan about personnal taste and beliefs with no ground to say no, for they've already said yes to another.

So what after this ? Communist cape ? Ahegao cape ? Vegan cape ? Greepeace cape ? Peta cape ?

Mods will do the trick, you'll be the only one to see it, you'll be happy and nobody else will be bothered to see you spead your beliefs, or make a scandal because they also want to show what theylike/are on some pixel floating in their back.

The are some authoritarian states out there that as long as you hold the party line line they dont care what else you believe. But I would agree that in the context of the satire it does not make sense.

I heavily disagree with the notions that Pride flags are both expressions of beliefs, instead of the celebrations of looked-down-on demographics' identities that they are, and a slippery slope toward allowing real-world racist iconography to be added, but, that all being said, I do also see a solution to my suggestion in what you said. Where can I find mods such as that (preferably ones that this game's anti-cheat program is kind to)?
