I wonder how it would work on bugs?

here's a video of the baton vs charger for comparison
https://imgur.com/a/fSUOGoK
You can't really do this if there's any other bugs around though as they just swarm you.
I thought maybe the wide swings of the baton would work better against the hordes of tiny bugs
but with the lunge attack they just jump your face and kill you even while youre swinging
It also seems to be 100% silent with the added benefit of stuns seemingly keeping the target from alerting nearby enemies even if you do not kill them immediately so it has some uses there too.
The reach is also longer than it might seem at first and can hit multiple enemies with one swing/stab.
So all in all, a very competent backup weapon imo.
one crossbow bolt and the horde is gone
They really can't do ♥♥♥♥ decently, lawl.
Can confirm this. Seems like the tip of their lance is always active rather than only during swings.
I died instantly by diving behind rubble and impacting head first on the tip of a resting lance of an idle enemy.
for bots yes
for the horde of zombies no then the lance or batton is 1000% better
Hope they fix this soon
