A simple post about the methods I find so far to handle Harvesers, and please feel free to share yours.

Damage seems inconsistent right now. No matter the weapon, sometimes it's a one hit down, sometimes 15 hits... What seems to work for me is airburst the shield then RR to the face from a colleague. But as I said... it's not consistent.

The weapon I use most against Illuminates is AMR. The good old rifle removes a Harvester's shield with about 4 shots, and kills it with 4 shots if you hit the same weak spot - the part that connect its body and its long legs. You will see a red mark when you hit the right spot. My advice is to remove the shield with a high-rpm weapon (a redeemer can do the job with a full mag), and finish off the target with your AMR, so that you have plenty of ammo to spare if you miss.

What I've heard is to shoot the Harvester's joints with Quasa, Commando or similar, take Strafing Run with you or have a colleague who is good at shooting shields away with Stalward or similar, then take an aimed shot at the place where the legs are attached to the pod-like body. That should take out the Harvester with one well-aimed shot.

Joints = Weakpoint

Try not to get hung up on the glowing eye or anything.

Once shield is gone, one hit to the face(the shiny blue light) like you do a bile titan with a recoilless and its down. The face hit box is about the same as a bile titan though, it might look bigger but its not.
Primaries take out shields, followed by whatever AT you got. Also when you get close they use arc attacks instead of the death one shot laser so if you got the 95% arc resistance armors you can just hang out close to them and use even flamethrowers to melt them in seconds. The little stick antenna whatever thing on top of their heads is what generates the shields, so if that is destroyed they no longer can regen shields.
I've found hitting leg joints with the AMR to be a fairly consistent strategy. Either spam the AMR to down the shield, or shave it off with a automatic weapon, then whip out the AMR and pop it like... 3-4 times at the leg joint near the head to topple the whole thing.

Also if you can manage the recoil, you can do similar things with the HMG with the benefit of not having to swap between a shield clearing gun and your AT. the HMG is also very effective at killing the heavy overseers. it totally tears them apart.

You can also one-shot a Harvester's shield generator with AMR. The generator is the little horn-like structure atop the walker's head. Shoot it before a Harvester raises its shield, and you shall never worry about that annoying bubble. That is why I almost always pick AMR in Illuminate missions, even though Arc Thrower is also pretty good.
pop the shield with an eruptor shoot it in the eyehole with any form of rocket, spear will 1 shot it I want to say 75% of the time

also with laas canon, it seems to perform better the farther away you are in hitting that sweat chicken leg spot. Could be subjective on my part, but it seems the beam doesn't scale correctly with distance

Any med pen weapon with a high ROF on his leg joints should do the trick
The part between body and leg is oneshot with quasar, though its hard to hit over certain distance.
For everything else just use sickle: removes shields without expending an ice and is also able to kill overseers without losing a single ice.

Laser Cannon works also well. Takes longer than quasar but is easier over long range.
To me AMR is the most tolerant weapon against Harvesters. Yes, proper AT weapons like Recoilless Rifle and Commando can one-shot Harvesters. But they are a pain in the *** to reload if you miss. AMR allows you to engage Harvesters from much further away, without worrying too much about accuracy, thanks to its relatively high reload speed. And the shield-generator trick is super useful and tacticool.

Railcannon works in a similar way as AMR. As far as I see, 2 max-charged shots would remove its shield, and 2 barely-charged shots at the joint would finish it off. You can also one-shot its shield generator to make your life much easier.
breaker shot gun for every type of enemy and the stalwart or gauss cannon. All the weapons are too weak in this after all the nerfs through time since the begginging days
