My problem with the stun baton being in the superstore:
I don't like how it makes it possible to miss a weapon due to the rotation of the superstore. Also, as the content available through the store grows it's going to take longer and longer for it to come about again.

Shush, don't tell anyone but you can use real money to get the currency!

This is the beginning of the degradation in gaming. Little by little you accept things that will eventually cause it to be a credit...or money sink. It is the addicts, the apologists, that cause a game to become putrid with these type of transactions.

Yeeeah FOMOing weapons or stratagems isn't a good look.

They can resolve all these issues if they just make all the super store items always able to be purchased

They are on rotation...They're not LTOs...

The lance has a longer reach, better for dealing with Zombiethulhus and Squid Jaffa in melee. Baton is just a status symbol.

I don't like FOMO, but I might accept it if things like this were always available. Maybe. Still rubs me the wrong way putting weapons in the store though.

I know they're on rotation, we all know that, the problem is that they keep adding more and more to the rotation which makes each next rotation take longer and longer and longer to get to the item that you want.

If you don't get the stun baton here or the armor you won't see it again for a month or two

Superstore items are on rotation so they're not FOMO. They're rare Pokemon you have to catch at the right time.

That's exactly what FOMO is... catching it at the right time. If you're unable to log in or play for the two days that the item is back on rotation then you miss out... *again* and need to wait *another* month or two

It makes it so you have to keep looking either on the companion app to see what's on sale right now or to keep logging in to check because you don't know what's going to be on sale next

so you have a fear of missing out

FOMO implies miss it once and you'll never have a shot at it ever.

The key words are MISSING OUT, as in to not have. You can't miss out on something that is regularly available.

Yeah, and this is after the Ex-CEO (now CCO) said they are against FOMO.
Then this happened, really tell you how "trustworthy" they are.

The only FOMO were the limited time armors for pre purchase and the update release. Missing out on a SuperStore rotation doesn't mean it's Gone Forever.

Does it really have to be forever to be considered a FOMO?
To me, as long as you can "miss out" at all is FOMO enough to be considered as such.

The fact that we are starting to see a start to the tread where we can no longer unlock GAMEPLAY contents whenever we feel like it is something we must push back before it's too late.
