Most games would literally block them from free players forever. Not this game. Sure its a bit of a grind but most games also has a grind or you straight up buy it to skip the grind.
Never played deep rock galactic? You can't buy weapons and armor with in-game bonuses with real money in non pay-2-win games.
Just play the game and you'll unlock everything.
Not everyone is a NEET and have jobs, families etc...no time to grind. Luckily my household pulls over 200k a year so I buy warbonds if im short a few credits.
It's not ideal that weapons are sold there but do I really care...no I don't.
Maybe I would care if I actually had to buy SC:s in this game.
But due to them being ridiculously easy to acquire for free I simply don't give a damn.
funny you say that. since this patch ive been finding more SC than ever lol
Honestly, not really. You just need to drop into lower diff missions. I use to think the same, but the second I dropped into a 6 with a friend he basically found a metric ton.
A stun baton being there is just too much, considering the warbond was pretty much just cosmetics itself
If it happens again with the next warbond - I won't spend money on HD2 anymore
The sh*ttiest part btw, if you look closely at the warbond banner, one of the characters isn't holding a weapon, but his hands are in such a position, as if there WAS a weapon at somepoint, and it was simply cut out
My biggest issue with this is time, it feels like it has less respect for players than anything previously, especially people who will drop the game outside of major updates.
The player could have all the currency they need and be stuck kicking dirt for weeks to grab that cool looking weapon that everyone is using that played in the week it first dropped.
That feels a lot worse than "oh that helmet is sick, I'll have to see if I can get it when it's on rotation." Especially since armor usually has little to no difference in utility while weapons can be game changing.
Yup like I said in one of the other various threads about this same subject, everything in the superstore should be there at all times available for purchase.
The rotation should be for things on sale for lowered price.
this game isnt free, this isnt team fortress 2 or fortnite
we paid money for this game
what is wrong with gamers?? you ENJOY being treated like cattle, to be milked for money in a game you already paid for?
this is why I only buy singleplayer games and avoid multiplayer/live service like the plague.
You cant monetize and milk a singleplayer game (unless you're ubisoft).
