Overall you probably don't use a lot of AT against illuminate so far though, one thermite is enough to deal with walkers once you drop their shield.
Also another tip for overseers (shield guys), just like regular devastators you can shoot their legs with light pen weapons to kill them.
They aren't like automaton outposts and terminid holes, I haven't been able to use grenades or even rockets on them so I just do the simple "big bomba go boom" solution.
But other than that there's gotta be a way to destroy those landed ships
It's best to use impact or incendiary grenades, the grenade launcher support weapon, normal grenades and rockets can rebound
No other strategy needed.
(You will have to grenade the enemy spawners after stalwarting the shield away though.)
this~ guard dog has been helping me a lot too
380, 120, walking barrage/napalm barrage, spear
Dropships need an RR up the belly when it's open/sending troops down. One shot.
Zombies, pure CC, so Stalwart is my go-to. A few shots and they go down so you could scythe through an entire horde.
Tripods go by the same principle as the landed ships for me, peel off shield then AT measures.
Lancers, personally I use explosive. I have not tested everything yet so crossbow is my best shot at the moment. Downs them in 2 hits.
Scout drones are no problem, just be sure to shoot them down before they can call for reinforcements.
It's those jetpack troopers I am finding trouble with. They're too fast for my crossbow and too meaty for my Stalwart to quickly dispatch (I will not forget the horror when I found out a fully charged railgun could not bring these bastards down). Absolute pests, I need tool recommendations
