Bad Performance?

Not sure what's going on but I used to play this a lot at launch and for a good couple months, just started playing again for the new update and the frames are horrendous? I used to get 90-100 Ultra 2K with my Ryzen 3700x/RTX 3080ti but now with Ryzen 5800x I get really bad frames ranging from 40-70?

Am I missing something? I tried tweaking settings but it seems to do nothing.

This game always had performance issues, especially after updates.

On day one I was getting stable 60FPS on maxed out settings (V-Sync ON), by Summer I was getting drops to 30FPS.

The developers have so far ignored the issue, and I haven't touched this game since Summer as a result.

The lag is insane in the cities right now. Feels like it could be a CPU issue since there's input lag even when the framerate stays high, but I'm no expert. Can't play the new content because of it.

I find if I play with console boys my frame rate tanks, when I turn off cross-play, it is fine.

That's a shame... I used to love playing this but the dips are insane now and especially in the cities. I've been playing Stalker 2, Black Ops 6 and even the new Indiana Jones recently and all are on Max/2k getting 120+ Fps with no dips. Just crazy how they haven't fixed anything with all these patches...

I'm with you, as much as I love Helldivers 2 is unplayable due to it's poor performance, for comparison I'm currently playing Space Marines 2 on maxed out settings and have no issues there (and that game looks way better than Helldivers 2), is actually a nice alternative to Helldivers 2.

I love Space Marines 2! big fan of Warhammer. For some reason that varies for me lol, I can get 100+ but then it bombs during operations to 40-50 but that could be connection issues.
