Short range with great stun. Like a mini arc thrower but easier to use. The stun is great for crowd control vs bugs. Good against any bugs except charagers, shriekers, and titans. It takes awhile to kill them tho. Unlimited ammo is great. Don't use ADS and aim above your target for it to work best. I used it for a month straight and I think it is a great option for bugs. I like to bring shieldpack, las pistol for shriekers, and Quasar cannon for heavies for an unlimited ammo loadout.

I often use it on 8-10 diff bugs and it works well. Great crowd control and tears through everything but bile spewers on up (chargers, titans). Range is almost non existent and team killing is super easy so you need to be careful with it but overall its fun and works pretty well.

great for bugs and surprisingly decent vs bot but i can only recomend arc vs bots if you have a lot of cover or your good at positioning

The stun and infinite ammo make it a fantastic weapon to pair with a heavy weapon like the RR, and light armor to dance in the middle of a Mega Nest like there's nothing there.

With good movement and awareness, and some experience with how it works, you can just run and survive indefinitely, even with an entire bug breach on your heels.

Sure damage is okay.

But the gun has absolutely no feel to it.

I used this weapon almost exclusively on the bug front. Nice stun, Autoaim, medium armor pen. Its very nice when you run arround solo away from your team since oyu have unlimited ammo and stun. Very good vs Stalkers. I once had 3 or 4 in front of me and they didnt get a touch on me.
