This game have killed my PC

My computer is only 2 years old. I've never had any issues with it since I made it. I play games like Star Citizen. Sea Of Thieves. Snowrunner etc. Without ever having any problems! I'm buying Helldiver 2. I play 17-20 hours with a few crashes here and there and suddenly my computer crashes the game immediately when I start it. My computer also crashes on all my other big games that used to work without any problems.

I removed my GPU drivers and reinstalled. No result.... I formatted no results. I saw on the game's forum that I wasn't alone in this experience. Even people on PS5 have smashed their console with this game. There are even people who are starting to talk about a class action lawsuit against Arrowhead.....I don't know if this will wake up the studio, but your game clearly has major problems!

I played over 30 hours with all graphics maxed out and have no perf issues nor had a single crash through it on my 6yo PC.... maybe yours is too new,? Buy an old PC and try again XD

Hardware was already bad. You just pushed it past the limit.

Game runs on a 3700x 2070 32gb ram system, a i913000hk 64gbram 4080 system no issue, and It even runs perfectly fine on my Legion Go. Definitely hardware bad.

Tbf the game didn't kill it - a fault in your setup did after HD2 started making use of what's available. It would've happened on another equally demanding game aswell.

What's it like thinking that a game bricked your computer and yet it doesn't for hundreds of thousands of other people? You know what also bricked it? A butterfly that farted in south east Asia. Time to sue the butterfly.

Could be one of the other DEMO games you've been playing recently, just a thought. When we look, at your "recent played games", HD2 isn't in the list for (playtime) anytime in the last two weeks? But if you say it has broken your system.. making you unable to play other big games, who are we to judge.

Bricked mine, got lucky and got it back switching from display port to HDMI. Didn't think it could be the game launched it and crashed again as soon as I entered the pod and I'm still struggling to get my rig back. I9 10 series with a 3080. Made it through the intro and both times crashed using the pod to start a mission 😭

Hey man, my mate has a similar issue, did you work it out? I got a feeling its a faulty psu cable that broke from high heat in the case from a memory leak (high cpu temps) in this game

It's a hardware issue that was bound to happen anyway. Sounds about a bad PSU cable, maybe an issue on the motherboard or the SSD/HDD.

Games don't make PCs fail, they only "burn" GPUs (like starfield did).
Sort it out.
